This week will be a bit special. I have an opportunity to donate clothes, home appliances, toys, sports gear, books, and furniture to the Finnish Red Cross on Friday. So instead of posting a single item, I will post everything that goes to the Red Cross - as soon as I have time and energy to do a bit of scavenge hunting in our apartment :)
Next week should be normal again, and I will continue giving one thing away.

Cartman Plush Toy
Item status: Donated to charity
The second item I will be giving away is this plush toy of Cartman from the TV-show South Park. There's not really anything more to say about this that can't already be seen from the picture.
I was not expecting to have any emotional attachment to this item, but apparently I did because putting it up here made me feel a pang of loss or regret. Getting rid of things might not turn out to be the easiest exercise after all, but I think this shows it's even more necessary for me to do.

Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset
Item status: Given away for free
Let's get this thing going! The first thing I will be selling or giving away is the Fatal1ty Gaming Headset made by Creative, which I've used mainly for Skype calls but have no need for anymore - and to be honest I have not used it since summer 2010, after buying a kickass Shure headset from Malaysia.
Product details from Amazon:
- Ergonomically designed and acoustically tuned for gaming
- Padded headband and earpieces for ambient noise exclusion and comfort during long gaming sessions
- In-line external volume control with microphone on/off
- Detachable and adjustable noise-cancelling microphone
- Excellent response for voice communications and dynamic in-game audio with extended bass
This unit is in top-notch condition and comes with a carrying pouch. I tested it and everything works perfectly. The cost of a new one is 32 € in Finland (Verkkokauppa).
